People rarely face just one challenge at a time.
A child at risk of dropping out of school may need more than educational support. There may also be health issues, financial difficulties or a need for social assistance. A person with disabilities may need financial support, healthcare and help with community integration.
But accessing that support can still mean moving from one institution to another.
SCI2000 starts from the reality that people’s needs are connected, even when public services are organised separately. Designed for 2,000 rural communities across Romania, the project brings social, health and education services together through Integrated Community Teams, building support around the needs of vulnerable people.
