ROMANIA - Pilot Project

The pilot in Romania focuses on transferring competences and
knowledge to stakeholders from the quadruple helix of the stakeholders in social innovation. Based on the excellent results of the capacity-building activities delivered during the SEED project, the Romanian pilot delivers the following activities:
2 social innovation hackathons targeting students, young companies etc. (during the second edition of the consolid8 festival in Romania, more than 100 participants and 13 teams developed SI solutions);
One study on performance management for the intermediaries that are supporting social innovation in Romania (funded or not from the ESF+), focusing on due-dilligence, team diversity, results, etc.
3 on-site workshops on social innovation specifically designed:
- for universities that developed/are planning to develop educational programs in the field of social innovation (eg. Master’s degrees in social entrepreneurship)
- for the ESF+ Managing authority, Intermediate bodies, the Romanian agency that will implement the social innovation priority in Romania in the 2021–2027 financial period and other ministries with competences in the social innovation field
- for the grant administrators financed under the social enterprises calls in Romania.
