In Novska, Croatia, the proBUDI VJEĊ Tinu project turned this idea into a local social enterprise focused on repairing, reusing, and upcycling wooden and textile products.
Instead of letting old furniture and textiles end up in landfills, the initiative gives them a second life while creating local services, practical skills, and opportunities for the community.
What makes the model particularly interesting is the combination of circular economy and social entrepreneurship.
