Some places are described only through unemployment, insecurity and exclusion, but the young people who live there rarely get to shape that narrative themselves.
Young People Who Do Not Give Up changes that.
Through a permanent Podcast Hub, young people become podcasters, musicians, photographers and community storytellers. They use rap, digital media and participatory storytelling to build skills, strengthen their confidence and make the creativity of their neighbourhoods visible.
The project aims to involve more than 300 young people, deliver over 400 hours of workshops and create at least 20 podcasts, videos and digital stories.
But the most transferable idea is that young people are not treated as passive beneficiaries, but they become the people creating the message, leading the conversation and changing how their communities are seen.
