OilRight is a Romanian social enterprise that collects used cooking oil and transforms it into eco-friendly candles. Instead of polluting water and soil, this common household waste is filtered, reused, and given a new purpose.
With the support of SEED2SCALE members, fonduri-structurale.ro and consolid8, through an acceleration programme for social entrepreneurs, the initiative has grown its impact. The candles are produced in a certified protected unit, creating adapted jobs and real opportunities for people with disabilities.
