13th April 2022
18 managing authorities, social entrepreneurs, local public institutions and authorities alongside support organisations from Romania gathered on the 13th of April in Bucharest to discuss the needs/challenges/problems identified in the Romanian Social Innovation ecosystem and what type of solutions are available in order to improve the implementation of this field in Romania.
Given the fact that the broad/systemic challenges found need a systemic tackling approach, the participants brainstormed and identified challenges/needs for each broad category of relevant stakeholders.
As a result, for effective and immediate results, the participants envisioned a series of „pilot-activities” that could take place over the course of next year, in order to ensure traction and visibility for the Romania’s Competence Center on Social Innovation, such as Ensuring aggregation of SI actors and Promoting financing opportunities for SI.
