Between March 4 and 6, 2025, Vilnius, Lithuania, became the meeting point of social innovation changemakers as the European Social Fund Agency hosted the NCC Mutual Learning Event.
For three days, National Competence Centres for Social Innovation from across Europe came together to exchange knowledge, explore collaboration opportunities, and shape the future of social innovation. But this meeting wasn’t just about discussions – it was about turning insights into key takeaways, learning from one another, and identifying new tools that can help each Center support ambitious initiatives back home.
Many topics were addressed, including some very important matters such as:
🔹how AI & digital tools can be used to tackle complex societal challenges – opportunities, risks & real-world applications;
🔹what every country should learn from some of the outstanding and inspiring case studies of innovation in Lithuania;
🔹how can we strengthen transnational collaboration to maximise the impact of social innovation across the EU.
SEED2SCALE is uniting 5 National Competence Centres for Social Innovation – Croatia, Greece, Italy, Romania, and Slovenia – who share a mission: to accelerate social change through innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation. It was a truly energizing moment to have everyone gather in the same room and fill it with ideas and insights.
