Politecnico di Milano is composed of 12 Departments and 4 Schools, implementing educational aspects in the fields of engineering, architecture and design. It provides Bachelor and Master programs attracting an ever-increasing number of international students. Two departments are involved in the project: Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG) and Department of Design. The Department of Design brings in the experience on co-design, service design and SI for public sector innovation, stakeholder engagement, SI piloting, co-production and scaling; the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering brings in competences on investigating and supporting the development of new social entrepreneurial business models; identifying new financial instruments to support social innovation; fostering the development of the intangible infrastructure such as legal frameworks and impact measurement systems, competences relevant in the analysis of the contexts in terms of barriers and opportunities as well as regulatory, social and economical conditions.
