Fondazione Italia Sociale works to foster social well-being, by collecting resources to finance national projects of social and public interest, which create employment, especially among youth.
Its mission is to promote the development of the Third sector and the social economy in Italy, as a fundamental instrument of social growth in the country, through the support of national projects aimed at tackling the social problems of greatest impact.
This mission is based on the awareness that communities with a high level of civic responsibility and social cohesion are also those with the greatest chance of developing economically and with the best employment opportunities.
Fondazione Italia Sociale was established by the Third sector Reform Act (L.106 of 6 June 2016, Article 10) and operates as a private legal entity.
