CROATIA - Pilot Project

The pilot in Croatia focuses on building competences among actors from the quadruple helix of stakeholders and partners in social innovation, enabling them to transfer knowledge to social innovators and a wider group of stakeholders. Drawing on the competences within the partnership and lessons learned from partners who have already built their capacities in the SEED project, the Croatian pilot integrates these insights and methods into its development. Policy decision-makers, representatives from the business sector, academia, and non-profit organizations actively participate in the pilot.

The pilot is implemented on the platform, enabling feedback on user experience and content. The pilot programme in Croatia builds on the lessons learned from the partners and is delivered through a mix of tools via online channels on the platform, including:

thematic co-design workshops (online)

master classes (online)

webinars for case studies presentation and discussion.

4 main groups of stakeholders are involved in the pilot.

Special attention is given to social economy organizations operating in both the private and non-profit sectors. Digital skills are at the core of the program, covering key topics such as productivity tools, online collaboration, online learning platforms, digital storytelling, and other skills based on the needs of stakeholders. The pilot program follows the project plan, engaging at least 10 participants from four sectors. Feedback from participants, instructors, and other stakeholders is collected to evaluate the program’s effectiveness. This feedback is essential for refining and improving future iterations of the program.

The Croatian pilot also tests mentoring and peer-to-peer activities and support. During implementation, partners engage in testing at least three groups in mentoring and/or peer-to-peer support.
